Visual Paragraph Describing the relationship between Saul and Virgil in the book The Indian Horse.
The Indian Horse was a very interesting novel. I personally loved the book and would be able to read it again multiple times. For me it is very intriguing because my family and I are Metis. My Mom's side of the family is both French and Native and we are always trying to learn more about the Native lifestyle and beliefs. My family has told me everything that they know and have learned about it but I found it really cool to hear from a different point of view of what it was like to actually be there. It's pretty scary for me because my grandparents are both almost half Native so they were very close to being taken into the residential school system. My family is very lucky because they were both born in 1950, which is a crucial part of when the residential schools existed. If they were a little more native they would have been taken too, and who knows if they would have meant.
